There will be many exciting competitions at Doggy Fun Day as detailed below:
Fashion Parade
The Fashion Parade will be held at the Doggy Fun Day Main Stage and will be judged by audience reception, Doggy Fun Day organisers and one special Doggy Fun Day judge.
Entries are open to all sociable dogs with an extravagent outfit, hair do, or fashion style they would like to share! Doggy Fun Day is the perfect opportunity for your four legged friend to strut their stuff.
One prize will be awarded for the overall winner of the 2011 Doggy Fun Day Fashion Parade. This prize, a doggy hamper valued at $50 - $100, has been generously donated by Greenhills Veterinary Hospital.

Talent Quest
The Talent Quest will be held at the Doggy Fun Day Main Stage and will be judged by audience reception, Doggy Fun Day organisers and one special Doggy Fun Day judge.
Entries are open to all socialble dogs with a special talent that they would like to share! Be it singing, dancing, chasing or racing, if your best friend loves to be the centre of attention the Doggy Fun Day Talent Quest is the perfect opportunity for your dog to shine in the spotlight.

Novelty Races - Pet & Owner participation
Does your dog love to compete and more importantly, love to have fun? The Doggy Fun Day Novelty Races may be just perfect for your best friend. The races will provide immense entertainment at Doggy Fun Day! All dogs are invited to participate and have fun with their owner whilst competing against other dogs.
The Novelty Races at Doggy Fun Day are open to everyone who would like to partcipate in an active event with their four legged friend. To enter a race, participants will be required register on the day with a Doggy Fun Day organiser located at the races and workshop registration tent. Further details regarding the competition will be provided by the Doggy Fun Day organiser.
Races will be broken into three categories based on weight.
Category One: Small Dogs (weighing up to 10kg)
Category Two: Medium Dogs (weighing between 11kg and 20kg)
Category Three: Large Dogs (weighing 21kg plus)
The races will be held at 12.45pm, 1.30pm and 2.15pm. Registrations will close 15 minutes prior each race.
Fastest Ball Chase Races
Do you and your best friend love to play fetch? If so, then the Fastest Ball Chase competition may just be the one for you! All dogs and their owners are invited to participate in a game of fetch at the Doggy Fun Day Racing Green that will provide fantastic entertainment and will no doubt provide enjoyment for you and your dog!
The Fastest Ball Chase at Doggy Fun Day is open to everyone who would like to participate in an active event with their four legged friend. To enter the ball chase, participants will be required to register on the day with a Doggy Fun Day organiser located at the races and workshop registration tent. Further details regarding the competition will be provided by the Doggy Fun Day organiser.

Waggiest Tail Competition
Does your dog continuously wag his/her tail? If so, then this competition may be the one for your four legged friend! The Waggiest Tail Competition will create an exciting atmosphere for the audience and your dog as they compete for the 'Waggiest Tail'. All dogs are invited to participate and have fun with their owner whilst competing against other dogs.
The Doggy Fun Day Waggiest Tail Competition is open to all happy dogs and all owners who would like to participate in a fun event with their four legged friend. To enter the competition, participants will be required to register on the day with a Doggy Fun Day organiser located at the races and workshop registration tent. Registrations will close 30 minutes prior to the competition. Further details regarding the competition will be provided by the Doggy Fun Day organiser.
Mischievous Tales Competition - 15 words or less
Will your dog simply just not stay out of trouble but always make you smile every time? If so, then why not share a story with us to go into the running to win a great prize. The Mischievour Tales competition will showcase stories of dogs and the people who love them. Doggy Fun Day welcomes entrants to share interesting, clever and funny stories about mischievous things their dogs have done.
